Atheneum

This project required the research, design and execution of a new words mark for any existing or made up restaurant of our choice. Once the restaurant idea was chosen and the research was completed, the concepts and thumbnail sketches were done and resulted in the execution of a menu and website layout. All of the illustration and graphic design for this project was done by myself. Feedback from peers and instructors was applied to the design in order to refine it. The visual direction and overall theme of the restaurant was inspired by literature. It features a dark design style and is influenced by classic literature such as Alice in Wonderland as well as old black letter typography.
