Creative Day 4 Social Good

Creative Day 4 Social Good (CD4SG) is a 24-hour event that brings together teams of students, art directors, writers, account managers and other creative professionals who donate their time to create design and marketing work for non-profit organizations across Canada. My team was matched with the Canadian Centre for Food Integrity (CCFI) and we were tasked with creating social media collateral for Canada’s Agricultural Day. We met throughout the day continually as a team to come up with ideas of directions we could go in and ultimately came up with three different post ideas that CCFI could use. We were then split into smaller groups to accomplish our goal. My group was in charge of designing a template that users could use to put their own pictures in with the caption “Forks Up!” As the main focal point. I came up with the final layout design for the post and I created the Photoshop files that we then sent off to the client. This event was an excellent experience in getting the opportunity to not only work with my peers but industry professionals as well to create work that is being used today.
