Toyota Mural

This project was done in pairs where we researched, conceptualized and designed a mural for Toyota. My partner Erin Wilson and I used the notes and research that we had from our first meeting with Toyota to come up with our own separate ideas which we then brought together. Once we had a design direction, we split the work between us so that we could work on it collaboratively. I created the conveyor belt and robot arms and Erin did the typography and iconographic work. The mural conveys the Toyota principles in training and workmanship as well as portraying the step-by-step process that goes into making and assembling a vehicle. We chose to use Toyota colours for the mural as well as a sans-serif font in order to stay consistent with the brand.
