The Violin Case

Project: Restaurant Menu
Class: Typography, Design Studio & Packaging
Semester: Fall 2021

The Violin Case is a 1920’s Speakeasy inspired Bar and Grill which focuses on creating an intimate atmosphere a unique experience. We offer a wide range of food and drinks that cater towards all types of dietary restrictions. The name “The Violin Case” comes from history itself, in the 1920’s and 30’s, gangsters and mobsters would carry their Thompson submachine guns, or “Tommy Guns” in violin cases, as it would hide them in plain sight. In this instance, the concept of The Violin Case was to create a restaurant which had the same type of “hidden in plain sight” aesthetic.
