A Bit About Me

      My name is Alyssa Yemen and I am a student member of the RGD. Currently I am enrolled in the graphic design program at Conestoga College and I am also a graduate from Sheridan’s Art Fundamentals program. I have also had various experiences in the design industry through my participation in the 2020 Creative Day 4 Social Good. For this task I was put into a group that included both student and industry art directors to design a video, Pamphlet, and report within 24 hours for the United Way of Bruce Grey. Also through my time as a Co-op student at Pixels and Coffee Media where I was given the opportunity to learn 2D animation and help with client graphic design work. My varied skill-set includes attention to detail, organization and time management when working on projects. I am very familiar with many of the programs and techniques associated with graphic design. Some of the programs I know include Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Premiere, After Effects, and Indesign. Art techniques I have include sketching, multimedia projects, and drawing. With these skills I have created many different pieces including graphic designs, 2D animation videos, and various drawings using many mediums. I learn quickly and am very creative in the work I produce. Currently I am looking for a summer internship following the ending of my semester.
